Houseplant Southern wind lily (florist's sedge) in bloom. This plant is in my bedroom and I was very surprised at the growth and flowering of the flower buds. A green bud on an increasingly long stem, where suddenly the first flower buds became visible. The beautiful little white flowers with the black heart budded one by one. The front flowers in the picture are fully open while the next budding flowers emerged.
I created a black background that gives a nice contrast and makes the black flower hearts stand out. The macro focus shows all the details (pistils/stamen) of the front open flower well.
Photography has been my interest for many years. In recent years I have gone a little deeper into it because I wanted to develop myself further as an amateur photographer.
