About "See Me, the feeling of invisibility in company"

About the artwork

In the middle of a dark room, a lone figure sits crouched by a small light. Around him, others stand with their backs to him - shadows fading into shadows. Yet from that one point of light radiates warmth, humanity and hope. The contrasts between black and orange, between distance and proximity, give the work a charged stillness.

The inspiration for this painting comes from the feeling of invisibility in company. Sometimes someone is physically present but emotionally shut out - and just then, one look, one hand, one gesture can make all the difference. The composition consciously places the viewer in that role: you are the one who does see, who recognises the light and can decide to react.

The technique - thick paint textures with warm tones in the centre - emphasises the fragility of the light in contrast to the oppressive darkness. It is an intimate image that carries both sadness and hope.

In an interior setting, this painting acts as a quiet call for empathy and attention. It is a reminder of how important it is to really see what is happening around you.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
