In this illustration, I invite you to look behind your own reflection and discover the endless perspectives that lie beneath. The less present you are, the better you can perceive reality.
Not everything is as it seems; perception plays a crucial role in how we experience the world around us. Our thinking influences our beliefs, and genuine conversations only arise when we are open to others' views on the truth. Daily, things are labeled as 'true,' only to later be revealed as different. Our senses can deceive us, and it is a diminishment to pretend otherwise.
This illustration is part of a series of six works that emerged from my quest for 'the truth' in a time of information overload. In a world where we are constantly bombarded with opinions and facts, I felt it was important to reflect on how our personal perspectives influence our perception. With this series, I hope to encourage the viewer to critically consider their own truths and the ways we engage in dialogue about the different perspectives that exist.
