Komodo National Park in Indonesia is teeming with marine life, including various species of shark. The waters are world-renowned for their biodiversity and offer spectacular diving and snorkelling experiences right around the islands.
Here’s what you need to know about the sharks in Komodo: Common Species
Whitetip reef shark: The most commonly spotted shark in the area. They often patrol along the seabed and in shallow coral reefs.
Blacktip reef shark: A more shy species with distinctive black fin tips, often seen in shallow, clear water.
Grey reef shark: Larger and more active, often found near steep walls and underwater mountains where there is a current.
Nurse shark and bamboo shark: Sometimes seen in crevices or resting on the seabed.
Whale Shark: Spotted sporadically, particularly around the northern part of the park.
Best Spots to See Them Karang Makassar (Manta Point) & The Passage: Known for sightings of the blacktip reef shark.
Batu Bolong & Castle Rock: Famous dive sites in the north where the current can be strong, attracting large schools of fish and active reef sharks.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
