"Shell from the water" is a macro photo of a piece of a borer mussel (type of shell). This little shell is shimmering (glare from the light) because of the water that is on the shell. The soft pastel colours of the shell and background (mainly beige, taupe and cream) give and relaxed natural atmosphere to the work. Because it is only a piece of a shell and only a very small part of it, it becomes almost an abstract work. But the texture and colours show just enough to still recognise it as a shell. This work could, for example, beautifully hang as a wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room, kitchen or simply above the sofa in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room or waiting room (business)
