About "Shrub peony - Peony"

About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of a shrub peony (Paeonia suffruticosa) in full bloom. The large, white petals appear delicate and slightly ruffled, while the centre of the flower is dominated by a dense cluster of bright yellow stamens. The composition focuses entirely on the flower itself - without any distraction from the background or other elements.

The inspiration for this work was the special structure of this plant: the combination of a soft, almost translucent shell and the complex, almost wild interior. I was attracted by the contrast between outer calm and inner movement - a theme that recurs in many of my floral works.

The atmosphere of the picture is calm, but not static. It invites the viewer to look more closely, to focus on the details and to discover the natural complexity. The message is subtle: beauty is not just surface, but is created through the interplay of form, colour and structure.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
