About ‘Siberian ground squirrel’ by Henk Groenewoud
The Siberian ground squirrel (Tamias sibiricus) is a non-native species. In Europe there are some small populations of escaped or released specimens. A small population in Tilburg started with a removal crate which fell from a truck, when the Tilburgs Natuur DIerenpark closed its doors.
