About "Silence before wine"

About the artwork

The fine-art photograph "Silence before wine" is a carefully composed still life in which simplicity and symbolism come together. At the centre of the image is a full, ripe bunch of grapes - fresh green in colour - casually laid down on a rough block of wood. The texture of the wood, weathered and with visible grain and cracks, contrasts powerfully with the shiny, smooth skin of the grapes. Each grape subtly catches the soft side light, giving the round shapes an almost tangible depth.

The composition breathes silence, anticipation. There is a sense of anticipation, as if this moment lies just before something bigger - before pressing, fermenting, becoming wine. The dark background and focused light enhance the drama and put the focus entirely on the subject. No noise, no distractions. Just the grapes, the wood, and the suggestion of time.

"Silence before wine" is not just an image, but a visual contemplation on impermanence, transformation and the poetry of the everyday.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
