Boris de Leeuwe (Amsterdam, 1976) began his career as an animator (HKU) and went on to work as a teacher and painter. Years of experience in drawing and meditation form the basis of my painting: attention, rhythm and movement play a central role. I paint in my studio in Amsterdam and en plein air, and also produce drawings on a regular basis. I often paint in acrylics.
