About "Silent San Marco"

About the artwork

"Silent San Marco" depicts a rare and almost unreal moment: the famous Piazza San Marco in complete silence and emptiness. Here, instead of the usual bustle and noise, the square is ruled by peace, shadow and architectural splendour. The classical arcade on the left forms a rhythmic pattern of arches and light, which flows seamlessly into the open space of the square.

The soft lighting accentuates the sheen of the wet tiles and creates a play of reflections that gives the image depth and sophistication. The famous facades of the buildings surrounding the square become subtly visible in the darkness, ensuring that the historical grandeur remains palpable without being intrusive.

The absence of people makes the scene timeless - like getting a glimpse of a Venice of centuries ago, before the tourist crowds existed. The silence is almost audible. This photo captures Venice in its most intimate state: pure, stately and full of character.

"Silent San Marco" is an ode to the power of emptiness. The image shows how beauty can light up when everything around us comes to a halt for a moment.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
