Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Silhouettes against the barred window’ by Alberé de Ville

Silhouettes at the Lattice Window
This powerful artwork showcases the aesthetics of the female body within a dramatic architectural setting. Based on a photograph, the image has been digitally manipulated to create a highly textured solarisation effect and an intense light-dark contrast. Two women pose in a large, open window opening in front of a delicate iron grille, through which warm, autumnal light streams in. One figure is captured in an aesthetic rear view, whilst the second figure, wearing a top hat and striking lace-up boots, draws the viewer’s gaze inwards. Thanks to the rough, almost metallic-looking grain and the golden sheen, human forms and Baroque architectural elements merge into a timeless, cinematic composition. An eccentric and characterful statement piece for modern living spaces, lofts or elegant boudoir-style bedrooms.

Whether through the lens, on canvas or on paper – I seek out the extraordinary in the detail and…
