About the artwork

The painting, created from the artist's impressions during his stay in Sweden, captures the unique beauty of a waterfall and a gorge. The artist first sketched the scene and then transferred it with oil paints onto a wooden panel in his Berlin studio.

The gorge through which the water flows holds a wealth of interpretive possibilities. Gorges are often seen as metaphorical symbols for challenges and transformation. They represent the darkness we have to cross in life, while the light at the end of the gorge represents hope and happiness waiting on the other side. The clever perspective of the gorge creates a sense of depth and movement in the painting. The flowing stream of water adds dynamism and liveliness to the scene.

In art, water in a gorge often symbolises the flow of life, movement, renewal and change. It stands for the unstoppable power of nature. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
