Sometimes you don't need much to make a picture. Just a simple small concrete pier and the sea. Together with a slow shutter speed and conversion to black and white you get a simple yet strong image. For those who want to know where the photo was taken, it is in Port en Bessin. A small coastal town in Normandy where many bunkers from the 2nd World War can be found. The small harbor was used during the 2nd world war for the supply of fuel for the allied troops. The town is not very big but there were a few of these small concrete piers worth photographing.
