About the artwork

There are places that are empty and yet full at the same time. This picture from the Namib-Naukluft Park shows one of these magical landscapes: Vast expanses, dunes, dry ground - and above it a sky so dramatically staged as if an artist had painted it with expressive brushstrokes. The white clouds pile up in infinite variety over the bright blue firmament - as if they wanted to bring rain. But in this region, it often fails to materialise. The aridity is omnipresent, the vegetation sparse but expressive.

Two gnarled trees stand like memorials to time in the middle of the arid expanse - witnesses to the will to survive in a merciless environment. The reddish shimmering dunes in the background form a gentle yet powerful contrast to the bright sky. This picture thrives on the interplay of extremes: heat and airiness, emptiness and structure, death and survival.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
