A periwinkle with outstretched antennae crawls over very large pebbles on the beach of La Hague (Normandy, France) to eat sea kale leaves.
Against the light, the snail appears almost transparent and vulnerable on the large pebbles. The evening atmosphere, with clouds and the approaching sunset, casts the scene in a particularly atmospheric light.
Despite the relatively small size of the snail, you can still see a lot of landscape from the foreground with pebbles, the beach to the sea.
The picture conveys a great deal of tranquillity and has a meditative character.
It was made possible by the use of a special lens that enables precisely these particular landscape impressions.

The picture was taken with a 60 megapixel camera and a G-Master lens, which is characterised by its special optical construction. The image was processed on a calibrated monitor.
The nature of the image allows it to be used in a variety of ways as wall decoration in portrait or landscape format, which also looks particularly impressive in panoramic format.
