About ‘Soft Blending | Pink and Blue in Harmony’ by Whale & Sons

A serene composition in which pastel pink, sky blue and peach orange gently blend together. In the centre, patches of lavender and fuchsia light up, like a dreamy centre of energy. The lines are subtly cracked, like dried pigment or glossy marble, with touches of gold here and there giving the image depth.

The abstract shapes leave much to the imagination: a cloud cover at sunrise, a silky fabric moving in the wind, or just colour at its purest. The atmosphere is soft, reassuring, but not without tension-as if the work has just walked out of a dream.
