About "Solarisation"

About the artwork

SOLARISATION... I regularly visit the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes to enjoy nature and its splendour.
From a great distance, I saw this Fallow Deer walking over a hill with the rising sun in the background.
Only 1 photo I could quickly take at the right moment as he walked down the hill. It was only at home that I saw that this fallow deer had his tongue sticking out of his mouth.
I gave this photo such an edit (solarisation) that the outline is further emphasised with a golden glow.
The bronze/gold background colours this photo perfectly with the glowing grass helmets.
I have also included the regular version of this photo in my webshop on request as of November 2014 under the title: "Dawn has gold in its mouth..." With this photo, I received a lot of international attention and an honourable mention at an important international photo forum.

Was thus high time to add this photo to my shop.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
