The sparrow, in one form or another, is an integral part of Dutch nature. You won't escape, especially in spring, to encounter at least a few of them, wherever you are. This is a portrait of a Dunnock, processed in such a way that it can be described as abstract. Dunnock sparrows are normally found in hedges, and their singing can often be mistaken for that of a robin. They sing excellent and beautiful melodies.
