Speulderbos in the Veluwe during autumn. The Speulderbos, located in the Veluwe, is known as one of the most beautiful and oldest forests in the Netherlands. This "forest of dancing trees" is unique because of the winding trunks of the ancient oaks and beeches, which create a mysterious, fairy-tale landscape. In autumn, the Speulderbos turns into a riot of colours with golden, red and orange leaves covering the forest floor and reflecting the sunlight beautifully.
A walk through the Speulderbos feels like stepping into another world. The light plays through the branches and seems to bring the trees to life, giving the forest its nickname of dancing forest. Birds and small animals, such as squirrels and deer, can often be seen, completing the experience. The Speulderbos offers an oasis of peace and natural beauty and is a popular spot for hikers looking for a special and serene environment.
