Undaunted, she looks into the lens. She is not afraid of spiders. Like a golden pendant, she holds up the spider. She puts her back by the web later. While gardening, she came across this beauty. The snail is also ubiquitous in her garden. Fortunately, this little animal has a nice little home to retreat to should the spider approach. She put a dahlia in her hair. It reminds her of the spider with all its tentacles. Just a little longer and winter will make its appearance. For now, just enjoy all the colours of Indian summer.
The image includes a painting by Juan Gris from the early 20th century, drawings by Joris Hoefnagel from the 16th century. The picture of the dahlia was taken by myself.
