Splatter VI
An abstract painting of a flowering heath with a reflection in a stream, a Dutch windmill and a large tree. A landscape in purple, lavender, yellow, ochre and blue.
A beautiful, soothing, summer day with the heather in full bloom and the setting sun peeking just above the horizon. On the left of the picture is a beautiful windmill, reflected in a stream.
From mid-August to mid-September, the heather is in full bloom and you can enjoy the purple heaths to the full. You find them in the Veluwe, among other places. On the Posbank in the national park Veluwezoom, Radio Kootwijk, the Dellen and in the nature reserve 'De Renderklippen', in the forest reserve 'De Motketel' and in the Crown Estate Het Loo. But also in Drenthe in the national park Dwingelerveld, or the Great silent wet heath of Drenthe. In the south of our country, too, you will find beautiful heathlands. The Brunssummerheide, for instance, is the largest heathland area in Limburg. In many places in the Netherlands, you can take beautiful walks on the heathland.
Take home the heathland walk in an abstract version with Dutch windmill. This painting lets you enjoy summer in nature every day. And colour in your home as well.
