About ‘Split reality in gold’ by Evert Jan Looise

I have a thing for beach, sea and coastlines. I find lines in coastal areas fascinating. There are lines here as well. Lines formed by a beach post.
The perspective that was created, because the picture of the beach post was taken from above, results in a somewhat unreal image. You have to look twice to see what it is exactly; and that makes the picture special. The sharp lines of the split pole accentuate the chosen point of view.
The atmosphere created by this 'gold version' fits into almost any interior and is excellent for wallpapering.
