About ‘Spring on the sandy beach of Lacanau’ by Renate Kreft

On the left of the picture is the calm Atlantic Ocean, in the centre is the sandy beach with large pools of water, and on the right, along the windbreak fence, are the dunes covered with flowering grass. All four elements meet on the horizon. The light blue sky is covered with fleecy clouds, which are reflected in the pools of water. The intense, dazzling rays of sunshine make their way to the pools.
Numerous light reflections and colour reflections enliven the picture, which is painted in watercolour and gouache. At the bottom left in the fine sand is the inscription: Lacanau. Due to climate change, the sea level has risen, but the strong sun causes the water to evaporate and clouds to form. These move inland and bring rain. A cycle is created. It is spring, and the cultivated grass on the dunes is blooming. The painting is touching with its soft pastel colours. The movements in the sky, in the sea and the reflections of light give a feeling of hope. I have not been to Lacanau for a long time and painted this picture from memory and with my imagination.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
