I made this view from above so the domes of St Marks could rise like islands over a tide of roofs. Golden light pulled texture from tile and stone and set a slow rhythm across the frame. The composition stays wide but simple so the major forms read at a glance.
I worked the edges for small notes, a bright patch near the quay, a thin line of smoke, a channel of sky that holds distance. A steadied exposure kept detail while the horizon stayed soft. The picture is assured rather than loud, meant to bring presence without pressure.
For me it is a map of time made visible, a way to hold trade, faith, and home in one layered view. It fits rooms that want thoughtful weight, living spaces, offices, and hotel corridors where attention rewards each return.
