About "Starship | Ready for launch at sunrise"

About the artwork

tarbase is the new rocket base of Elon Musk's SpaceX in Boca Chica, Texas. The complex is still under development. People here are working day and night towards just one goal: to develop, build and launch the new Starship, the largest and most powerful space rocket ever built by mankind. The rocket that is to take mankind to Mars. These are grand plans that seem to come from a science-fiction film, but so they are already actually building this.

I visited the complex in late 2022 to see for myself how the rockets are being worked on. At this time, you could still get close to the rockets (without fences in between) and my 4x4 camper on Dutch registration plates can even be admired in the Rocket Garden, right next to some Starships.

By mid-2023, that has come to a halt - you can't just reach them now. So the photos in this series are already going into the history books. As far as I know, our camper is the only Dutch vehicle that has ever stood right next to the Starships under development.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
