The steamship Schaarhörn was built in 1908 at the Hamburg-Steinwerder Schiffswerft und Maschinenfabrik as a "Peildampfer" and was commissioned by the building department of the Senate of the City of Hamburg. The Schaarhörn is owned by the Hamburg Maritime Foundation and can be chartered.
