About the artwork

The Eiffel Tower, the iconic symbol of Paris, rises majestically above the city here.

The Eiffel Tower is a masterpiece of engineering and technology, designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair. It was intended as a temporary monument, but has since become a permanent and beloved attraction for tourists from all over the world. I took this photo in early March 2023, on a clear afternoon. We had just arrived in the city and although I have visited Paris many times, I am still impressed every time I see the Eiffel Tower again.
This photo was taken from Place Charles de Gaulle, near the Arc de Triomphe.

I chose a black-and-white photo for artistic reasons, to emphasise the atmosphere and emotion of the picture. In this way, it emphasises the shapes, textures and contrasts of the Eiffel Tower and its surroundings, without the distraction of colours. Moreover, black-and-white photography evokes a sense of timelessness, and this photo shows not only the impressive structure of the Eiffel Tower, but also the atmosphere and beauty of Paris itself. It is a timeless image that reminds us of the power and splendour of human creativity and the enchanting magic of one of the world's most beautiful cities.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
