About "TideTales - the surf at Domburg"

About the artwork

I took this photo on a beautiful Sunday in November 2023 at Domburg beach in Zeeland.
It was an incredibly rainy autumn and this day with sunshine and a blue sky was a gift.
Getting a breath of fresh air at the beach re-energises you.
Due to the strong wind, the waves were high and I took this photo at the best moment: the wave is at its highest here, breaking against the sea wall. All the splashes are tremendously sharp in the picture, so you can almost feel the energy and power of the sea.
Domburg is Zeeland's oldest seaside resort and this year the beach received the international Blue Flag environmental award for the 35th time. This means that the beach is kept clean and the bathing water is of good quality.
This beach ( the Badstrand) borders the beautiful historical centre of Domburg, with many nice restaurants, terraces and shops.
Domburg has a rich past. Piet Mondrian came here for inspiration, among other things. But Domburg was also loved by royals.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
