For this painterly picture, I took inspiration from still lifes by old masters of painting. I have therefore only used very old objects: the oak table dates from the early 20th century, the hand-blown bottle dates from the 18th century and is a ground find, as can be seen by the iridescence of the glass. The container containing the berries is a pre-industrial stoneware cooking pot, possibly from the 17th century or earlier. Only the berries themselves are from the 21st century ?
