About "Stolberg Castle (Germany)"

About the artwork

The most visible landmark is the medieval castle of Stolburg. It sits with its buildings and towers on the large limestone rock above the Vichtbachtals. The strong walls are so artfully anchored in the rock that the entire castle seems to have grown out of the rock.
The castle, which dates back to the 12th century, is now mainly used as a meeting place. Upstairs in the cateel there is a gallery for art exhibitions. The middle floor with a large hall serves as a venue for concerts, parties and weddings. During its long history, the castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times. The excessive use of historical elements in the reconstruction in 1900 gave the ruined castle a strong character.
On the western side of the courtyard between the main building and the round tower a staircase leads to the lower courtyard. The lower courtyard offers a view of the impressive bluestone formation of the castle.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
