I am 80 years old and started painting after retirement. I have no training so am self-taught. I love nature, forests, mountains, landscapes and the sea and I am fascinated by old large sailing ships, so-called "Tall ships. This is reflected in my paintings. My work is figurative and I like to be inspired by old masters and current artists and paint mainly from photographs
