About the artwork

A lonely, dusty path winds its way through the landscape and leads into the distance, where a town can be recognised in the twilight. A threatening, stormy sky looms over the town, dark grey clouds fill the sky and lightning flashes through the scenery. But the most unusual and disturbing element is a gigantic eye that towers above the clouds and overlooks everything. It seems to be watching the city and the path, as if it were observing the scenery with silent omniscience. The contrast between the vastness of the path, the peaceful silence and the dramatic sky creates a surreal and highly symbolic image of doom and predestination.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
