About the artwork

There’s a stillness to this one that I didn’t want to disturb. A whitewashed building—sharp-edged, clean, almost too perfect—sits quietly under a heavy sky. The light was soft, filtered through thick clouds, which made the geometry of the place stand out even more. Just walls, lines, and shadows.

But then, there they were. Two men. One stepping into frame, the other already halfway down the narrow path. It was just a moment, nothing planned. A quiet intersection of daily life and architecture. And that’s what drew me in. The contrast between the stark modernity of the building and the subtle human presence weaving through it.

This photograph, to me, is about balance. About the way people move through spaces without needing to alter them. About light that doesn’t shout, but still tells a story. Maybe it’s also about noticing what’s often passed by.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
