A cityscape of old canal houses on the Brede Haven in the historic city center of 's-Hertogenbosch. In addition to the Market, the Port was also a lively center in the commercial city of Den Bosch. Ships brought essential necessities, such as peat, wood and fish, as well as luxury goods such as wine for the inhabitants of Den Bosch. This row of houses was restored in the late 1970s and is now a jewel for the Bossche city center. In front of the houses are (house) boats in the water. In the summer you will see many motor boats and sailing yachts moor. It is one of the most beautiful streets in Den Bosch. In the summer the residents enjoy their own terrace at their own front door and you see many tourists. It is also a popular backdrop for photo shoots. This photo was taken in winter, the trees are bare and it is cloudy. I walk through this beautiful street with beautiful colorful historic buildings almost every day.
