Churches are always fascinating to see, especially abroad. Either the architecture is very beautiful or the stained glass, statues or carvings. So when we are in France during our holidays, we always visit a church when we come across one.
This summer holiday, I also visited several churches again. In this church (Basilica Sainte-Marie-Madeleine) in Vézelay in Burgundy, my eye was caught by the beautiful play of sun and shade that took place between the ancient columns in this church. I found it very captivating to see and I think that on the wall, it looks very good too.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
