A spring morning with a layer of mist over the water and a beautiful sunrise in 2:1 format in Tusschenwater, a nature reserve in the municipality of Tynaarlo in the Dutch province of Drenthe.
Tusschenwater is located east of Zuidlaren and south of De Groeve. The area lies in the northern part of the valley of the river Hunze. Slightly to the north of Tusschenwater, the Hunze flows into Zuidlaardermeer.
The area forms an important link in the series of nature areas that runs from the southern part of the Hunzedal to the nature in and around Zuidlaardermeer.
