About ‘Sunrise in the polder’ by Ton Wever
I took this sunrise photo on a cold winter morning in January.
Near Akersloot, I was looking for a suitable location to take the photo when I came across this reed belt.
The sunlight illuminated the plumes of reeds in a beautiful way, the dew on them glistening beautifully in that light.

My name is Ton Wever, born in 1960 and living in Alkmaar.
Photography has always been my interest, first with rolls, but since 2009 digitally, currently with a Nikon D7500, and occasionally with my mobile phone.
As you can see from these photos, I have a broad interest in photography, my preference is nature, in the broadest sense of the word.
