Sunset at the Schild Lake.
I have visited and photographed many places around the Schildmeer. I often passed by this spot because of a nice little bridge, but never found a composition worth photographing. This evening, after the second attempt at this spot, the penny dropped for a nice composition using not the bridge but the bollard as a guiding line to the trees and the last light coming from the left just illuminating the planks. With the windless conditions mirroring the scene nicely, I was very pleased with the final result.
I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.
