Some views feel like they were meant to be stumbled upon. This moment in Sutri was one of those. I turned a corner and there it was: a garden gate left open, perfectly framing the golden light hitting the town's stone buildings. The tower stood tall in the background like it had been waiting for centuries, just for this light. What made me stop wasn’t just the architecture, but the warmth in the colors — deep oranges, dusty reds, and the lush green in the foreground that catches just enough sunlight to glow. The composition came together on instinct: the arch draws the eye in, and the open door gives it direction. There's depth here, not just spatial but emotional. The balance of shadow and sun creates a quiet tension, like something is about to begin. This is the kind of scene that doesn’t just show a place — it invites you in.
