About ‘Sunset at Mount Cook in New Zealand’ by Carmen Kuijper

One evening, we were staying at a motorhome site near the famous Lake Tekapo on New Zealand's South Island. The view we had there was breathtaking, with the sun setting behind the mountains. I looked for a good position and took this photo at the perfect moment, with some birds flying next to the mountain. The photo has a warm feel to it thanks to the yellow/orange glow of the sunset. The soft grass in the foreground adds some depth to the photo. Lake Tekapo is also visible. And in the background, you can see the mountains with Mount Cook in the centre. Most photo's van Nieuw-Zeeland zie je juist de stoere foto's of the landscape and mountains, but I thought it would be nice to take a softer photo. And that worked out well. Enjoy!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
