After a fantastic bicycle ride through the beautiful landscape of Central Myanmar, we stepped into a boat for a trip on Taungthaman Lake. We went along U-Bein Bridge, which is the world's longest teak footbridge. This bridge is build on 1086 poles, of which just a few are replaced by concrete supports.
We travelled this region in the dry season, this is the period when the bridge is high above the water.
The sunset, the silhouettes of the people and the reflection in the water makes this a fantastic moment, and a beautiful picture.
