About the artwork

At sunset, the Grassy Hill Lookout in Cooktown transforms into a spectacle of colour that immediately captivates visitors. On this cloudless, sunny day, the sun slowly sinks towards the horizon and bathes the landscape in an intense glow of red, gold and warm orange. The colours seem to flow across the sky as if they had their own movement, soft and powerful at the same time.

From above, there is a wide view over the branching delta of the Endeavour River, whose water glistens like molten metal in the evening light. The individual arms of the river meander through mangroves and sandbanks, while the outlines of the hills in the distance begin to fade into a soft purple colour. The warm air carries the sounds of the nearby bush: the chirping of crickets, the distant calls of birds retreating to their night perches.

Grassy Hill itself seems particularly peaceful at this hour. The tall grass sways in the gentle breeze and the golden rays of the sun make the stalks glow almost translucent. This moment - calm, colourful and full of vastness - captures the natural beauty of Queensland in a very special way and will stay with you for a long time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
