A vast, harvested field, littered with round bales of straw, is bathed in warm light from the low evening sun. I was inspired by the beauty of the agricultural landscape at the end of the day. The texture of the straw bales and the stubble field radiates honesty and earthiness. The image radiates deep warmth, tranquillity and nostalgia. It conveys the feeling of serenity after work is done and the beauty of rural life. The message is one of appreciation for natural cycles. The photograph was specifically taken during the "golden hour". A very small aperture was used to create the intense, radiant sun star. This image brings an intense, warm colour palette into the room. The vibrant gold, orange and deep brown tones are ideal for creating an inviting, cosy atmosphere.
