In an old village washbasin, at the exact point where falling water meets the still water below, forms emerge that no longer seem like water.
Photographed with a 300mm macro lens against the light, these bubbles resemble glass spheres, tiny galaxies, fragments of light suspended in fluid. Every detail is magnified, every reflection becomes structure.
The result is an image that drifts between abstraction and reality, between constant movement and the illusion of stillness.
A living, natural substance that, for an instant, lets itself be observed as if it were crystal.
This is one of those images where it becomes clear that behind the most ordinary things, unexpected worlds are hidden:
when we stop merely observing what is placed before us,
and begin to read beyond, reality opens itself in new forms, revealed through the eye of the camera.
