About "Swallowtail on butterfly bush"

About the artwork

I photographed this beautiful swallowtail in my own garden. There is a very nice little story behind it which I will share.

I had never seen a swallowtail in person in my life. And this is what I wanted so badly. I believe in angels and asked them to send a swallowtail to my little garden. Two days later, I was making my cosmetics when I looked outside for a moment. From my laboratory I look straight at my little garden. Then suddenly I saw a swallowtail fluttering. I was so pleasantly surprised that I immediately ran outside to look at it.

But I also really wanted to photograph it, so I asked the butterfly if it would stay put. So I ran inside and grabbed my camera. I ran outside again and yes, she was still there. She stayed put surprisingly well, so I had plenty of time to photograph and admire her. That's why I always call this photo the angel butterfly. She symbolizes beauty and transformation to me. This is one of those moments when I was in pure connection with nature and with my heart and soul.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
