About ‘Symbols of Egypt’ by Nelleke Bruno

This work contains the most important symbols of Egypt.
The Eye of Horus was used as an amulet. The anchor cross represents hope and faith. In Egypt, the cat was the protector of houses and the families that lived in them. The dung beetle was a symbol of resurrection and new life. The jackal was a protector for loved ones who had already died.
This painting is suitable as a meaningful image for the symbols portrayed on it. The background with gold colours indicates the relief on which the symbols and hieroglyphs were painted. It will eloquently fill a room with the aura of symbolism.
