The Taj Mahal was built for the favorite wife of the then ruler of India. It served as a tomb. According to the original plan, another exactly the same structure was to be built on the other side of the river, but in black. Before this one could be built, the ruler is captured and imprisoned by his son.
Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
