Tangerine Twist: A Modern Minimalist Dog Portrait by Angelique van den Berg

Tangerine Twist – Modern Minimalist Colour Block Dog Portrait
Infuse your home with energy, warmth and style with this modern, minimalist piece of art. A striking and beautifully stylised duo portrait of a Golden Retriever and a French Bulldog, rendered in the most vibrant, on-trend colours of the moment.
An absolute must-have for design-conscious dog lovers.
This unique digital artwork brings together the distinctive characters of two beloved dog breeds in a high-fashion colour block design. Inspired by modern minimalism and figurative abstraction, the composition is built up from powerful, clean geometric planes:
On the left, you see the elegant, soft profile of a Golden Retriever, rendered in calm shades of cream and sand. On the right, the characterful, rugged French Bulldog forms a striking contrast with its deep terracotta and chocolate-brown areas and expressive, minimalistically styled blue eyes.

The Tangerine Twist Palette: The background is composed of clean, vertical bands of vibrant tangerine orange, warm terracotta and soft citrus yellow. This bold palette instantly brings sunlight, warmth and a sense of modern luxury to any space.

The complete omission of details such as fur textures creates a monumental sense of calm. The clean lines ensure that, despite the bright colours, the work retains its exclusive and minimalist appearance.

This piece strikes a perfect balance between graphic design and warm homeliness. It fits seamlessly with interior styles such as Contemporary Chic, Modern Boho, Retro-Modern, or as a bold, warm accent in a sleek, industrial interior.
Ideal for,
The ultimate eye-catcher above a neutral designer sofa, in a light-filled hallway, or as an inspiring burst of colour in a creative study or modern office.
