A fascinating pattern in red, brown and black, found on a bollard near the sea lock in Vlissingen, Netherlands. It could just as easily be a photograph of an alien landscape, taken by a NASA satellite and covering many kilometres. But we see here an area of about 20 by 30 centimetres with tar that has coalesced into small mountains with a network of valleys between them.
A nice decorative board for the wall, it comes into its own in both landscape and standing format.
