Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Temple @ Bangkok, Thailand’ by Travel Tips and Stories

This is the striking, green-glazed main pagoda (Phra Prang) of Wat Ratchaburana Ratchaworawihan, better known locally as Wat Liap. This historic temple is situated on the opposite side of the river (the Phra Nakhon side), close to the foot of the Memorial Bridge that you saw in the previous photo.
Special features of this hidden gem: The Unique Colour: Unlike most of Bangkok’s classic white or gold pagodas, this prang stands out for its mosaic of green ceramic tiles. This gives the structure a character all of its own.
The Khmer Style: The tower is built in the distinctive prang style (inspired by traditional Khmer architecture), reminiscent of the early Ayutthaya period.
War history: Wat Liap was severely damaged during the bombings of the Second World War due to its strategic location next to the Memorial Bridge and the power station. Fortunately, the magnificent prang you see here has since been fully and meticulously restored to its former glory.
